Fall 2010 Specialty Dining Southern Exposure is offering eight unique dining experiences this fall, beginning with "Starry, Starry Night" on Sept. 24 and concluding with "The Camelot" on Dec. 19. Along the way, you'll enjoy the very best in regional cuisine, transporting your palette from the sun-drenched villas of Tuscany to the historic homes of Plymouth, Mass. In 1797, George Washington's Scottish farm manager James Anderson encouraged him to build a whiskey distillery adjacent to the gristmill. The distillery was the largest in America, producing 11,000 gallons of whiskey in 1799, making it one of the most successful economic enterprises at Mount Vernon. |
