Catering - Luncheon Menu

Southern Exposure is known for its Southern hospitality and as such we don’t want to see anyone leave us feeling hungry. Our luncheon entrée selections are served with bread and butter, a delectable selection of desserts and freshly brewed herbal tea and our special coffee blend.

Southern Exposure’s Chicken Salad: Our own delicious, homemade chicken salad is served on a bed of fresh salad greens and is accompanied with a variety of delicious fresh fruit. Chef Elsie enjoys using her creativity to prepare this special salad just for you. $17

London Broil: Chef Elsie uses tender slices of beef served on top of a variety of mixed greens, red onions, pecans, avocado, gorgonzola cheese and her special homemade herbal dressing. $19

Shrimp, Orzo, Vegetable Confetti Salad: Chef Elsie has prepared a delightful blend of large shrimp marinated in her own special sauce and combined with orzo pasta, capers and a medley of crisp seasonal vegetables all tossed with extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice and balsamic vinegar. $17

Greek Chicken Salad: Red and green bell peppers, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, red onion on a bed of mixed greens, feta cheese, and topped with strips of tender grilled chicken breast make a perfect luncheon choice. $17

Teriyaki Pork: Chef Elsie uses tender slices of marinated pork tenderloin served on top of mixed Fall greens, green onion, radishes, peapods, and julienne-cut carrots. $18

Chef Elsie's Cobb Salad: For a lighter lunch, we offer a variety of mixed greens combined with diced chicken breast, bacon, avocado, chopped eggs and tomatoes, blue cheese and Chef Elsie’s homemade herbal dressing. $17

Adding a Soup

Each entrée arrives at your table accompanied by bread and butter as well as a delectable dessert and your choice of herbal tea and our special coffee blend. But don’t forget the soup, which is available for an additional cost of $4.00 per guest. Our chef has prepared a delicious choice of soups that include:

  • Garden vegetable
  • Vegetarian black bean
  • Squash soup (seasonal)
  • Clam chowder

Homemade Dessert Selections

Top off your luncheon experience with a tempting dessert from our very own Chef Elsie. Selections include:

  • Chef Elsie’s Crème Brulée
  • Key Lime Pie
  • Chocolate Torte
  • Chocolate Walnut Surprise Pie
  • Southern Exposure’s Napoleon

 


Catering Policies

On-site catering is for groups of 15 or more. Although we know that it is difficult to choose from so many delectable choices, we ask that you choose one set off the catering menu for all guests in your party to ensure fast service and minimal cost. (For example, all guests at a catered lunch would enjoy the same entrée and dessert. Salads listed above, such as the chicken salad, are considered entrées. Soups are available at an extra cost of $3.50 per person - one soup choice for all guests.)

An 18% gratuity and 6% tax will be added to your final bill. After enjoying your meal, we offer our guests an optional herbal craft and gift making class to take home as a personalized memento of their visit to the farm.

Our facilities are available for your special events with our on-site catering service. Due to health and liability concerns, only food prepared in our commercial kitchens may be served in our facilities. For more information, please contact our Events Coordinator at (269) 962-1255.
